Clinical investigations often deal with the cures and possible preventive measures that can be used on the different mental health issues that researchers uncover.
The National Institute of Mental Health is based in Maryland and is under the umbrella of the National Institutes of Health which in turn is under the jurisdiction of the US Department of Health and Human Services. This institute was founded in 1949 and has sponsored a huge number of research grants and instigated quite a number of important research programs with the goal of helping the people who are suffering from certain mental health conditions in the US and worldwide.
